Metadata is the additional information about the web document such as page description, author, a list of important keywords, etc. In this blog, you will learn how to add metadata to your HTML page.

Meta tags do not change the appearance of the site. Metadata integration does not change the appearance of the site, but it is very important from a search engine optimization point of view.

The tag allows you to set the refresh rate for your webpage. The duration is specified in seconds, after which the site is automatically updated.

The tag can also be used for forwarding. You can specify navigation with the URL of another web page and the duration in seconds after which users should be redirected.

- cookie settings
Simply put, a cookie is a message that a web server passes to a web browser. It is saved by the web browser to a text file. It is sent back to the server every time the browser requests a page. It keeps track of various information based on the needs of the application.
One of the important functions of the tag is to store cookies on the client side which can be used by the web server.

If you do not specify the expiration date and time, the cookie will be deleted every time the browser is closed.
